Labels

Let's play the metaphor game. Excuse my cheesiness.

A baby bottle is born. Fresh. New. No labels. Empty.

But this baby bottle grows to be a small Coke bottle. It begins to be filled up with life lessons and characteristics and a personality.

Then this Coke bottle gets bigger and turns into a root beer bottle (keeping it PG up in here). This root beer bottle is filled up half-way. But it grows a label. And this label begins to have words stuck to them. Weird or popular or cool or gay.

This root beer bottle begins to question who they really are and what they believe. So they empty part of them out to fill themselves back up with their own opinions and a slightly different personality. They make mistakes and restart. They keep making mistakes and keep starting over. But, every time they start over, more and more words are added to their label.

They finally give up/in and decide that these labels are who they are. That it's how they identify themselves as. Even if most of them are true, that's not who they are.

What they don't know is, it's not what other people say about them that makes them themselves, it's what's inside. What they make up themselves to be. When they realize that, they rip off their labels. It may not be easy, but it's worth it in the end. They grow into a sparkling grape juice bottle or a cranberry juice bottle. Whatever they feel, and are finally happy and pleased with their life because they are sure of themselves.

Yes yes. Thank you thank you. I am back to the bloggin busness. I haven't been blogging because I've been taking a break form this kind of stuff. bc.... life.

But, cutting off social media for most of the day has given me time to do more stuff. Like drawing (even though I'm horrible....) and writing and I even learned some new singing techniques and such.

But things are getting better. And I actually had an idea for a blog. : b SO HERE I AM! I know you've missed me...... : b
